Platform 6, curation & exhibition design for Harvard GSD
Platform 6 is structured around studio-based learning, as experienced through the sequence of core and option studios at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. This environment supports a unique model of scholarship that encourages hands-on learning, strategic thinking, and incisive exchanges with faculty. The studio rituals signifies a deep faith in interpersonal engagement and constantly revised connections between research, knowledge, and disciplinary affiliation. The assessment given at the desk represents the most fundamental criticisms of the project or the proposal. This volume seeks to capture the vitality of this exchange, as sequences of student response—drawing, model, video, rendering, sketch, map, animation, photograph, installation—follow the initial brief.
